It's #ThirdPartThursday and we would like to give a BIG thank you to Libby, Sofia, and Gianna for raising money to buy 68 books for kids of all ages at RMHCCI!

"I am feeling very grateful and overwhelmed at the support we received while running a book drive for the Ronald McDonald House of Central Illinois. We were able to raise money to buy 68 books for kids of all ages! I strongly feel that books can change lives and explain the hardest concepts to children and adults. When it comes to children who don't yet have the skills to process and work through big emotions and hard things, books are a wonderful tool. With this book drive, I specifically focused on books that have helped our family through two medical diagnoses in the past two years. While we didn't need the services of the RMHCCI, I was very aware of that possibility. I hope these books will help other families through their time staying at RMHCCI and process their feelings." - Libby Mikos
