Amy Lumanog

Ms. Amy Lumanog has spent the last 25 years in non-profit, faith-based work with children and families, as well as in educational leadership with infants through Grade 8 students in Kansas/Missouri, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. With a degree in Christian Education from Wheaton College, Amy's approach to working with children and families is collaborative, relational, and individualized. 

As Director of Programs with Ronald McDonald House Central Illinois, Amy combines her relational style with her systems and administrative skillset to oversee the programmatic focus of Chapter Operations. This includes management of Family Services personnel for the Springfield and Peoria Houses and working with volunteers and hospital partners for Hospitality Cart and Family Room services. 

Amy's interest in the Ronald McDonald House mission is captured in a quote from one of her favorite educators, Fred Rogers, who said, "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'"
