Volunteer Opportunities

Hands holding volunteer signRonald McDonald House® relies significantly on the contributions of volunteers!  We could not do what we do without them.

We acknowledge the extraordinary value of our volunteers and provide them with appropriate training, meaningful opportunities, and special recognition for their involvement. Our volunteers are important liaisons to the community and anchors of support to the children and families who stay at the House.

House volunteers help out by taking care of guest needs, keeping the house clean, making meals or baked goods for the guests, assisting with office projects and much more. Our volunteers also help out at fundraisers that take place throughout the year, including our annual golf tournament, trivia night, and many more. The wonderful support we receive from volunteers helps us to continue to have successful fundraisers!

We're always ready to welcome a new member to our volunteer family!

Volunteer Opportunities

Meals That Heal Volunteers

Meals That Heal volunteers create meals for our families right in our House kitchens. Many businesses, groups, and individuals help us provide a home-cooked meal for families! Volunteering to cook a meal can be scheduled on a recurring basis. Find open dates on our calendars and sign up to cook a meal!

Group Volunteers

RMHCCI welcomes groups of up to 20 people to come to the House to volunteer.  Projects for groups can include cleaning our Houses, seasonal projects like weeding, watering or ice and snow removal, helping with sorting recyclables, preparing mailers and more.

Guest Services Volunteers

Guest Services Volunteers include: administrative volunteers, hospitality services volunteers, House refresher volunteers, and welcome desk guest relations volunteers.  These volunteers help keep our Houses running smoothly by volunteering on a regular shift basis (typically weekly or bi-weekly).  Tasks include checking families in and out, answering the phone, receiving donations and assisting RMHCCI staff.
